Ford Mustang Builders How can i go about getting forged internals for a 05/06/07 Mustang GT?
Looking to by a mustang gt with minimum of forged internals or built motor (302) to run KB S/C at 15 psi or more. Would like to have some suggestions. I dont do the work. Im on the east coast (mid-atlantic states). 1st question does ford dealers offer this option (forged internals with transmission upgrade. Is there an engine builder near delaware?
with the following upgrades what do you think should be a good price not including the car.

If it were me, I would go with a 03/04 cobra engine. These engines come stock with all forged internals and a manely H beam rods. These engines have been tested time and time again and have been proven time and time again to be phenominal and support up to 1000hp. There is a guy at the track I go to that runs a cobra engine in his 06 gt mustang, I just dont remeber if he kept the stock 4 valve per cylinder set up that the cobra engine comes with, or if he went with a custom 3 valve per cylinder set up. Obviously, you get better performance with the 4 valver per cylinder set up but I dont know if this isnt applicable with the new gt mustangs as there stock engine is a 3 valve per cylinder engine. I wish I would have paid more attention now. If you do this with a 2.6L kenne bell and the other upgrades you have planned, your car will be so f'ing awsome it is unbelievable. I would be extremely jelous of your car. You would be running around 600-700rwhp and low 10 or even high 9 second 1/4 mile passes. P.S. Ford doesnt offer a forged internal engine components option and the only current production engine that has forged internals is the 5.4L engine that is being put in the shelby gt500. Good luck with whatever route you chose to go, keep me updated. Mike
Mustang Svt Cobra Does anyone have any information on a 1991 cobra svt, 302 mustang?
This year SVT is rare cant find much information on the car. Its registered under department of motor vehicle vin as a cobra, but in 1993 is when they started producing the svt.
The addition of the “Cobra” name leads many people to believe that these cars have additional performance equipment or special features over a regular U.S. GT, but that is NOT the case. The bottom line is 1984-1992 Canadian Cobra GT’s are simply the Canadian version of the U.S.-sold 1984–1992 Mustang GT. The difference is in NAME only; there are NO fundamental differences between the Canadian and U.S. GT models. Performance-wise, the 1984-1992 Canadian Cobra GT’s were absolutely no different than their American GT counterparts (including horsepower figures, available engines, transmissions and suspensions). What kind of exhaust to put on a Mustang SVT Cobra?
I am looking for an exhaust to put on my Cobra when I buy it. It will be somewhere in the years of 96-01. What are the differences and where is the best place to get them? I am looking for something that has that real low deep sound that sound really cool when idle. I dont want it too loud, but then again I want it to be heard. Any suggestions? I do NOT want it all stupid and high pitched like those stupid tuner cars.
Probably go with 1 5/8 in shorty headers, a 2 - 2.5 in H-pipe, and 2 chamber Flowmaster mufflers. That is a very standard system for V8 Mustangs and sounds great with a deep rumble. BBK is a company that makes lots of different exhaust parts for Mustangs. My advice is to listen to different custom Mustangs on youtube and get a system similar or same as the ones you like.
Mustang Brochure I was wondering the value of some vintage music brochures, amp covers,picks,guitar strings and more.?
My Grandfather owned a music business and I have found boxes of all size vintage Sunn amp covers, all kinds of guitar picks from a lot of makers. Some Martin also. I have brochures on stratocasters, Fender Mustang and Fender Amps. Also, instructions on how to fix all kinds of different vintage guitars,amps and more. Cases of never used vinatge guitar strings and some vintage tuners. Almost everything is in original cases,boxes and are in good condition. Some excellent. I think there might be some vintage parts and fret boards also. Is there anyway to know if these things are collectible or worth much?
I would guess that they have some value. Any vintage guitar parts should have some value and I'm sure there are those out there that collect the brochures and literature. Check on ebay and see if there are any completed auctions for some of the items you have.

Mustang Bullitt Mustang Bullitt GT Should I buy this car and how much is it really worth?
Ok so I found a Mustang Bullitt GT with 61,000 miles and they are asking 6700 for it. All I can tell that it needs is a paint job due to some scratches. The only negative is the title is rebuilt due to a hit on the front, drivers side but everything has been fixed. The only things that are not stock are the hid's, flowmaster catback, bbk x-pipe, and the deep dish bullit style wheels. So is this a good deal or am I getting played?
