Carburetor Repair Service
My Stihl blower (BG 85) sputters dead after a few seconds. The service shop said that the carburetor is gummed?
and needs to be replaced. what can I do myself to repair it?
Not much.. they are sealed and you can no longer buy parts..whole carbs only....
You can try spraying gummout in through the air opening...
Once you get it going , use gas stabilizer to prevent it from happening again...
