Ok, so I just joined this new insurance group and got a whole bunch of their brochures and in one of them there is a photograph of a truck driver and he is HOT!!!! I know there's a fairly big chance no one knows who he is, but I thought I would try anyway- the insurance group are: YOUR INSURANCE GROUP, in Australia.

What pc program should I buy for my small business?
My husband and I own a handyman business. We want to do schedualing, customer contact info, accounting (have microsoft money right now) billing/invoicing and workorders.
Would be nice to do flyers/brochures/emailing too...but right now, I do that on word/works and just thru our normal programs
At the moment everything is hand written. We expect people to pay at time of service and at the moment we do not have a computer in the truck. (hopefully will someday)
Any suggestions would be most appreciated

I can not do customer tracking, invoicing or workorders now...I need to. I have been "dealing" for quite a while.
Our Radio Club switched to Microsoft Small Business accounting and it interfaces with word/excel and seem pretty complete. We don't use the payroll but I use the customers for our membership and of course vendors and bank section works fine and plenty of reports and since you can export data to excel you could graph and report on what ever you wanted. As treasurer of the club I really like it but at same time I am an accountant (not certified) and it does work pretty good. You can do journal entries to move things around and I set up our equipment as other assets. Good luck in your search.

Brochure Hard Boxed brochure wont print double sided?
I have a mac OSX with word 2008 and i know how to get to print on both sides but the box that says print both sides turns gray so that i cant even make it print both sides.
i am trying to print a brochure that goes on both sides but it wont let me turn that feature on .
ANY HELP?
i know its hard to understand the way i put it but help
Duplex (double sided) printing is a printer feature - if it is grayed out in the Print dialog then most likely the printer you are printing to does not have duplex capabilities.
You can work around this however by printing page 1, turning paper over and then printing page 2 if you have no other printer available.
Boats Brochure Help! I need ideas for an Egypt themed theme park!?
I have a project for history class where I have to design an Egypt themed theme park poster and brochure.
The park should include rides, entertainment, eating establishments, character appearances, and other auxiliaries (restrooms, arcades, fountains, greenery, etc.) that help tell the story.
Some ideas I came up with for rides and auxiliaries are a Haunted Pyramid House, Nile River Boat Ride, and Camels Carousel...
I need more ideas.
A REAL Egypt themed theme park brochure would be helpful, so if you find something like that please post...
Rides:
-King Tut's Sarcophagus: A dark ride, perhaps something enclosed that spins or an indoor or underground roller coaster.
-Ramses' Curse: Something really scary, perhaps a haunted house or something like the pitfall.
Entertainment:
-Rosetta Stone: Concert stage, Concerts featuring musicians dressed in Egyptian style clothing or using Egyptian instruments such as harps, lutes, flutes, clarinets, and lyres.
-Face painting using the typical Egyptian dark eye make up, golds, reds, lotus flowers, Hieroglyphics, et cetera
-Painting portraits of people, but painting them as pharoahs or other royalty in an Egyptian setting.
Eating Establishments:
-Have the food be stuff like 'Lotus Blossom Smoothie' and 'Locust Burgers' but really be normal food, just with odd names.
Auxillaries:
-The Eye of Horus: gift shop featuring little statues of Bastet and other gods and goddesses, papyrus leaf pictures, Egyptian themed jewelry, Egyptian themed books, posters, post cards, Egyptian clothes, and so on
Scenery:
-Pyramids buildings, Hieroglyphics painted on building walls, papyrus trees, large statues
Have the staff each dress like an Egyptian god or goddess such as:
-Amon-ra: creation deity
-Anubis: god of embalming
-Apis: god of fertility
-Aten: sun god
-Horus: god of the sky
-Imhotep: god of medicine and patron of scribes
-Maat: goddess of truth
-Nut: goddess of the sky
-Seth: god of storms
-and so on

You've met new friends thru old friends and your charter boat came up in the conversation and they were very interested. You want them to come and visit, but you also want them to pay. It is a business. Without offending them how do you bring this up? Immediately on sending them a brochure, include pricing or wait until they love it and they agree to dates and then lower the boom? Would they expect free or would they bring up how much?
Never would I expect someone would give something for free that is their business but not everyone thinks that way and so many people expect something for nothing. I see nothing wrong when talking with them to causally mention your charter boat business and tell them the price and maybe add that you would give them a discount the first time they charter your boat. Avoid any big sales pitch. If you think you are getting good vibes then ask them if they would like you to send so them info. Make sure you have business cards handy since they might ask for that instead. I personally prefer a business card that tells me the website so I can avoid getting more mail.
