Help with a car part?
I have a 2006 Hyundai Sonata, on the front passenger door there was a red thing covering the light at the bottom, the red cover for the light fell off and I need to know the accessory name, and maybe where i can find another one at! Thankss.
I am about 2 hours away from the nearest licensed Hyundai dealership.
Kelly H., gave you a great starting point. Go to the Hyundai dealer and ask for replacement part or the right name for that part. Then the hunt starts, call the local salvage yard and see if they might have it, since its a small item they will not bother with it. You need to go to a "Pick and Pull" yard, there you can look around and take your time and get it yourself. Another great place is : Ebay auto parts, they have what you would never think off.
I restored an 1965 Dodge PU and needed to back light red liens, found some south america replicas, but dang if some guy in Navada had a complete set of rear lights. He not only had the lens but the entire box and cover with wiring, got them both for 23.00,,,a bargin ! Craigslist is also a good hunting ground, like going to garage sale ! hahahah

There are limited suppliers for these kinds of parts. A salvage yard for a used one or the dealer or an after market supplier for new ones. You may need to paint one to get the look you want if they don't make what your looking for.
