Most older GM cars and trucks have this sticking and jumping problem with speedometers.What happens is the speedometer cable gets dry over time and causes this problem.You can unclip the cable from the back side of the speedometer head and remove the center cable.Once the cable has been removed from the housing you can clean the cable and install fresh lube from your local auto parts store.Once the cable has been lubed it will work fine for years.If you dont want to lube the cable you can get a new one through your local chevy dealership.Best of luck.

let sit for 10 minutes then spray it all down again, shoot it from underneath to so you don't miss anything, after ten minutes wash off with garden hose under pressure, then with air pressure blow out all electrical connections, excess water
pretty much dry the engine with the air from air compressor, then start and let run for 10 minutes to make sure you didn't get any moisture under the cap, then with some white spray lithium grease lightly spray throttle cable connections and choke,
Tahoe Service Repair Would you get a Hybrid Chevy Tahoe or regular Tahoe LT2 if they are the same price?
Dealer said they can get me a Tahoe Hybrid fully loaded brand new 2009, for the same price. My concern, is Hybrid better or worse? Sure it might save some city mileage, but are there other costs and repair/service issues that can cost more?

The Tahoe Hybrid has a warranty on all hybrid components with NO deductible, and it's good for 8 years/100,000 miles. The warranty is also fully transferable to the new owner if you sell the car. Unless you plan on keeping your vehicle for longer than that, I would absolutely take the Hybrid knowing you will reap huge gasoline savings. Chevy knows that they won't sell the hybrid without backing their claims, and now that they are out of bankruptcy protection you have no worries.

As all-instrumental heavy rock outfits go, Richmond, VA's Suzukiton are not of the most immediately distinctive stripe. More regimented than the always unpredictable the Fucking Champs, less dangerous than the creepily enigmatic Karma to Burn, they excel at lining up a seemingly endless multitude of riffs into Service Repair Handbook's near nonstop 35 minutes. As such, this is an album of moments rather than consistently slack-jawed brilliance (perhaps explaining why it languished unreleased for three whole years), since themes are often repeated ad nausea with little hope of resolution, and all 13 tracks only vaguely adhere to typical rock & roll song arrangements. Sifting through the mayhem while the quartet hardly pause for breath, you quickly latch onto what may just qualify as the longest spell of unchanging guitar-chugging ever attempted on the otherwise forgettable "Meatal," trip over some rather interesting chaotic noise and feedback improvisations in the center of "Rogue Mechanica," find some clever use of space amid the brusque stop-starts of "R&T" and "Shit Trigger," and then come upon the nicely oscillating licks over doom-slow riffs heard in "Melon." The rest, unfortunately, mostly blurs into the faded memory, which, given some of Suzukiton's musicians' past involvement in king stoners Alabama Thunderpussy, suggests a somewhat "distracted" state of mind may have affected these creations. 1999 Tahoe HVAC Head Unit Replacement
How hard is it to replace an onboard computer? Can I replace my vehicle's onboard computer?
1997 Chevy Tahoe LS 5.7L 2wd Automatic. Mechanics state computer memory has a glitch and will not clear a pending code. All repairs have been done and Service Engine Light (SEL) continues to cycle on every 300 miles, or so. I reset the SEL and the light goes out for another 300 miles. Same pending code comes up each time. Any suggestions? I'm pretty good w/mechanical stuff and would like to do the work myself. Would I be able to find an onboard computer on a vehicle from a salvage yard? What are the costs involved in this project?
What code are you getting? I've never heard of this glitch before. I'm wondering if they told you something that wasn't true because they can't figure out how to really fix your vehicle.
